    Dear Hazel Wolf K-8 Families,

Welcome to the 2017/2018 school year at Hazel Wolf K-8!  We’re excited about our outstanding E-STEM program we have developed and we continue to build on our accomplishments. We currently have 751 students assigned for the 2017/2018 school year. This means we will have three classrooms at every grade. If your child has any special needs we should be aware of when making placements, please let me know via e-mail or if you have more to discuss, we are happy to set up a meeting.  If you are new to our school you are welcome to join us next week, May 24th between 6 and 7:30, for our E-STEM celebration night.

Please mark your calendar now for Thursday, August 31st, for our Back To School Open House.  Find out your class assignments, attend an orientation, and if you have a middle school student, you can get your schedule.  Additional details to come this summer!

    For Kindergarten Families
Jump Start for Kindergartners – will be held August 21 – 25, from 9:00 A.M. to noon. This is a week long, free, half-day experience for the students to learn about their new school. They will become familiar with other kindergarteners, teachers, and regular school day activities.  Information has already been sent out to families, so if you haven’t received it, please contact the main office.

Another item to note is that in the fall, kindergarten students will not start until the second week, Monday, September 11th.  During the first three days of school (September 6th, 7th, and 8th) each kindergarten student will come in with his/her parent or guardian for 30 minutes.  This time will be spent getting to know each other better and to conduct initial start of year assessments.

    For Middle School Families
Attached is the elective choice form.  Must be returned by May 26th if you would like priority on electives.
