    Upcoming Dates:

    Hazel Wolf Office Hours – The office is open for phone calls from 9:00 – 3:00 (1:45 on Wednesdays) pm every day. We cannot guarantee that there will be someone available to hand off individual supplies and materials unless it has been pre-arranged between the teacher/admin/office staff.

    New Announcements

    1. Yearbooks Are Still Here – Come by and pick up during our open office hours!

    2. K-5 Wednesday Schedules – You may see some adjustment to your students Wednesday schedule as more time is being set aside for small group and individual work. If your child is involved with this, you will be notified. Asynchronous learning work will still be provided.

    3. Middle School Wednesday Schedules – Starting on November 4th, after Pack Time, teachers will not hold office hours. They will be providing asynchronous work for students and allow the students more time to catch up on assignments.

    4. Middle School ELA Materials Pick Up – The materials have arrived and we’d like ALL middle school students to come check out their Language Arts Materials for their upcoming units next Wednesday from 1-4. Families can pick up for other families also.

    5. The Seattle Public Library is launching! has over 3,000 highly vetted expert tutors, who can help youth with schoolwork, tutoring and academic coaching in a variety of subjects in a safe and secure online classroom. 1-1 help is available in math, writing, science, history, foreign languages, college essay writing, Advanced Placement (AP) courses and more.

    Service is available 7 days a week, 2-10 p.m. in Spanish/English and 4-7 p.m. in Vietnamese Students can use their microphone to communicate with tutors, we hope this will be easier for English language learners
    Teens and adults can use this service to get help with filling out job applications and writing a cover letter and resume

    All you need to do is go to and log in with your library card and pin or your Library Link number and pin to connect!

    6. Student Pictures – If you are not having a school picture taken right now, that is ok. We will make sure there are future opportunities

    7.  Pulse Surveys - The October pulse surveys will be coming out to families this week. Please respond so we can adjust our remote teaching/learning as appropriate.

    8.  Thank you for supporting our Dine Out fundraiser night at Chipotle - With your help, we raised
    $289! Our next Dine Out night is at Don Luchos in Maple Leaf, Tuesday, November 10 -- Save the date.

    9. Last week for Reflections Art Contest Entries - Deadline is coming up this Friday, Oct. 30. This contest is open to K-8 students. Details are available on the PTSA blog. For info about how to submit entries, contact

Extended Hours at SPS Tech Resource Center at Nathan Hale HS - Students and families can make appointments by calling Student Tech Line at: 206-252-0100 or email: Nathan Hale High School, 10750 30th Ave NE. Parking is available on 110th. Mon. AND Weds: 11am-6pm. Closed for Lunch: 1:30-2:30pm. Find details here.

    2. SPS Meal Sites Open for ALL SPS Families – Open Monday-Friday, 11:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Pick up sack breakfasts and lunches prepared by our central kitchen. Available for ALL students, parents and guardians. Students do not need to be in attendance.
