    New Announcements
    1. Middle School - 1that Q1 has ended, we've noticed some areas around MS grading that needed more specificity and uniformity. The changes will take effect on Monday, 12/14, and teachers will be going over them with students in their 1st p classes. Here are the main things for you to know:
    • Assignments should now contain the date assigned in the title of the assignment.
    • Assignments turned in on time will be graded and recorded in the Source within 1 week of the assignment's due date. Assignments turned in late may take longer to grade and record.
    • Homework (work expected to be done outside of school hours) will no longer be assigned.
    • Independent work assigned for asynchronous time is designed to be completed during that class's asynchronous time. Depending on the type and purpose of assignment, it may count in a student's grade. If a student does not use the asynchronous time to do these assignments, they will have to use time outside of school hours to complete them.
    • No work will be assigned during breaks (Winter Break, Spring Break, etc.).

    2. Library Pick- Up - Wednesday and Thursday, December 16th and 17th at 2:30-4:30pm. Last Outdoor Library of 2020…put your books on hold by Monday (December 14th) evening…Dr. V wants you all to have plenty to read during Winter Break!

    8. Consider a Year-end Donation to your Hazel Wolf PTSA – The PTSA has been working diligently to encourage engagement and to serve and uplift our school community in many different ways this school year. We are providing financial support to the school through teacher grants and tutors. We are supporting families in need, especially those impacted by our current pandemic. We are building community and connection during this time apart.

*Please read more about our programs in the full letter by Marina Gray & Camille Mulchi, our PTSA Co-Presidents. View document here:

All our programs that support our children and school community rely on donations from our families. Please consider a year-end gift today. In light of our current situation, direct donations will serve as the majority of our fundraising budget for this school year due to the inability to hold our annual auction. Please give what is meaningful to you and your family at this time-- this might be a one-time year-end gift or a recurring monthly gift.

    Ways to give:
Cash or check: Please make checks payable to Hazel Wolf K-8 PTSA. Fill out the form found in the president’s letter (link is above) and mail to: Hazel Wolf PTSA, 11530 12th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125
