Our Mission
Hazel Wolf K-8 PTSA facilitates opportunities for family involvement in the school community. The PTSA works to enhance the learning experience for every child – in a way that fosters whole child well-being and success.
Dear Hazel Wolf K-8 Families:
We are excited about the 2015-16 school year and have many fantastic events planned for your family and student! Hazel Wolf K-8 is a vibrant learning community that invites and values parent involvement. The PTSA is here to help facilitate that involvement and to support our school in many ways.
We provide financial support to the school – Every teacher receives a PTSA classroom grant to support their teaching. Additional funds are dedicated to our library, arts programs, teacher professional development, field trips, school safety initiatives, tutors, and more.
We support families in need – Programs like our annual coat drive, weekend food backpack program, and our vacation food drives help support our families needing extra help.
We build community – Through fun, relaxed social occasions, meals at school events, volunteer opportunities, and other activities, we help families connect.
The work of the PTSA relies on volunteers and donations. Please consider joining, and if possible, making an additional donation. Our goal is to raise $9,000 by the end of December through a direct giving campaign. The faster we get there, the sooner the campaign can end! Contribute now to help get us off to a strong start—any amount is appreciated and helps fund important programs that support our children.
If you would like to be a member but the dues are a hardship, we do offer scholarships, and all of our activities are open to our entire community. You never need to be a member to participate. Whether or not you choose to join and/or donate, we welcome your participation as a volunteer.
