  3. Hall of Fame Team Camp Session 3 Registration is live! – We are pleased to welcome back our vendors Yogi Go Up, Seattle Young Engineers, My Mommy the Artist, and Seattle Dance Fitness to enrich the minds, bodies, and hearts of the Hazel Wolf kiddos!
    Session 3 runs from January 3rd to February 18th.

    Registration closes on Friday, January 7th, however some classes are already nearing capacity so do not delay! Please reach out to for general questions and for information on scholarships.
  4. Private Road – The street near the P Patch if a private road owned by those who live on the street. No Parking, either temporary (few minutes for drop off or pick up ) or long term (all day) is allowed past the P Patch. We want parents to avoid parking within 10 feet (at least) from the top of the road (both sides). When you park right to the edge of 12th NE on both sides, and with other cars parked in front of the school on 12th NE, entrance onto the Cul-de-sac is obstructed.
  5. Make a Year-End Donation to Hazel Wolf’s PTSA – The PTSA has been working diligently to encourage engagement and uplift our school community in many different ways this year. We provide financial support to the school through teacher grants and tutors. We supporting families in need, especially those impacted by the continued global pandemic. We are building community and connection as we return to in-person school.

Covid Information Virtual Night for Black, Brown and Immigrant Families — At this session, Black, brown and immigrant families from Olympic Hills, Cedar Park, Northgate, Sacajawea, Broadview Thomson K-8, and John Rogers are invited to gather and learn more information about COVID and vaccines from the King County Covid-19 Community Response Team from Seattle King County Public Health. The goal of the meeting is to share the knowledge our school community needs to stay safe and healthy.

Live translation will be available from English into Spanish, Amharic, Tigrinya, Oromo, Somali, Chinese (Mandarin), and Arabic.

While the session will center Black, brown and immigrant families, all families are welcome to attend. This session is sponsored by the Hazel Wolf PTSA Racial Equity Committee. If you have specific questions you want to ask the speakers, please email us at

  2. Read-A-Thon Results & Winners – Congratulations, Read-A-Thon Readers! We had 190 participants, over 135,000 minutes were read (2250 hours) and $19,5000 was raised for our PTSA. We’re so proud of all of you! Thank you for participating! Check out the list of winners here:
  3. Spirit Gear Pick-up – Already purchased Spirit Gear will be delivered to your child’s classroom next week, Dec 13 to 16.
  4. Thank You for Eating Out! Thank you for ordering food and supporting our school at the same time. So far we’ve earned $715 for our PTSA programs.

  7. Early Dismissal – Please notify the office BEFORE 2:55 pm (1:40 pm on Wednesdays) if your student will need early dismissal or transportation changes for that day. We are unable to accommodate requests if they are received fewer than 30 minutes before the end of the school day.
  8. Join the Racial Equity Committee (REC) —Our goals are focused on helping students and families of color and those who are furthest from educational justice (intersectionality with race, ability, language, gender, socio-economic status, etc). We’d like to recruit more Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) for the committee. With this help we can continue to support Student Equity Teams, host listening sessions for BIPOC, help BIPOC access vaccines, and host groups so white people can focus on strengthening their anti-racist skills. The Community of Practice for White Women meets twice a month on Sundays at 7. The Community Practice for White Men meets twice a month on Tuesday nights. To learn more or join the REC, email
