Student Mentorship

“Seek out teachers and mentors that challenge you to think for yourself and find your own voice.” Renee Olmstead

Hazel Wolf K8 is excited to announce the launch of our new Mentorship Program! Our vision and purpose is to intentionally connect our scholars with a caring, trusted adult in the building. This mentor will work collaboratively with the rest of the student’s school team, supporting and acting as an advocate for their scholar. Using a strengths-based lens, the mentor will empower the student to problem-solve, persevere, and to grow—in their whole, full, and unique selves.

“Every child deserves a champion” – Rita Pierson

We are currently serving about 15% of our 5th – 8th grade scholars, and as resources allow,
we hope to expand down to 4th and ultimately 3rd grade. Questions about Mentorship?
Please reach out to Camille Mulchi, Program Lead at cmmulchi@seattleschools.org.
