 School Announcements:

Message from Dr. Breuder:

Happy last week of school! It is so hard to believe it is already time for the last Family Bulletin of the school year.  As we close out this busy school year, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your support. Together, we have been focused on learning, growth, and overcoming challenges. Partnering with families is crucial to our success, and I appreciate your involvement.  Your engagement makes a significant difference in our students’ experiences.  Thank you.

This summer Hazel Wolf is a site for SPS Summer Learning for students in grades K-4.  This program is onsite from July 8-August 1.  This program is fully enrolled with students from Hazel Wolf and other students in SPS.

This summer we will also host a Transition to Kindergarten program for incoming Kindergarten students at Hazel Wolf. This program is August 19-21, from 9:00-noon.  Our fantastic kindergarten team will be onsite to run this program.

I hope you have a great summer.  I will be onsite for Summer Learning and will also take a couple trips with my kids and friends.  If you are leaving Hazel Wolf this year, I wish you the best in those endeavors.  For those of you returning, I look forward to seeing you in September! smiley face

SPS All-star Educator! Congratulations to Kindergarten teacher, Erica Wheeler! Mrs. Wheeler was selected as an SPS All-Star Educator after being nominated by community members.  This recognition shines a spotlight on staff members whose community thinks they are the backbone of their school, who go above and beyond the call of duty, and those who have built strong, meaningful relationships with students. Winners will be featured on the district website, social media, and the district’s TV news broadcast.

District representatives will be presenting the award to Mrs. Wheeler on Monday, June 16th. Congratulations, Mrs. Wheeler! smiley face

School Spirit Days!

  1. Monday, June 16th: Dress to Impress Day
  2. Tuesday, June 17th: Sports Day
  3. Wednesday, June 18th: Rainbow Sparkle Day

Please note the following upcoming dates for the 2025-26 school year:

  • Transition to Kindergarten program for incoming Kindergarteners: August 19-21, 9:00-noon
  • Open House: Tuesday, September 2nd, 4:00-5:00pm
