All School Announcements
Message from Dr. Breuder:
This week we enjoyed an Earth Day assembly that showcased some of the E-STEM work done around the school. Thanks to the Green Team (and faculty advisor, Ms. Dolin) for running the assembly! It was also fun to hear from students in all grade-level sharing projects and learnings across the school. The assembly finished with a Trash Sort game, where we had to quickly identify what was trash, compost, and recycle.
Optional Family Input Survey (Grades K-4): I sent home an Optional Family Input Form for families in grades K-4, as this information helps us as we make create classes for next year. Please note that this is not required and it is not a space to request specific teachers. This is a way for you to provide input about how your child learns best and any other useful information that is helpful as we create classes. These forms are due Friday, May 8th.
Upcoming state testing: All students in grades 3-8 will participate in the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) for reading and math. This testing will take place the week of May 11-May15th.
Multicultural Night is May 7th! Hazel Wolf families: Please join us Thursday, May 7th, from 5:30-7:30 pm in the covered play area. Let’s gather to share a meal and celebrate our community and its many different cultures. Please bring a dish to share or something that is special to your family, culture, or heritage, including cultural clothing or posters. Come enjoy good food, good conversation and even some entertainment!
Middle School Math information session: As we prepare for next school year, we are holding an information session for middle school families about math in our middle school. That session is scheduled for Monday, May 11th at 5:30 on Teams. We will send the Teams link to current 5th-grade and middle school families.
Attendance:
Hello Families,
