Message from Dr. Breuder:
This is such a busy time of year, so please note all the upcoming events! I love this time of year, but it is also a hard time for many people, as the changes in schedule and routine and nearing the end of the school year can create stress and anxiety. There is still so much to do in the next 4.5 weeks. Thank you for your partnership as we support all our students and our community during this busy, but fun part of the school year!
As you look at the upcoming events, please note that we are still looking for volunteers for some of these events—Field Day and Book Bonanza, just to name a few.
Lastly, we would like to invite all our volunteers to a Volunteer Breakfast on Friday, June 12th. Please join us for a celebration of our amazing volunteers at Hazel Wolf K-8! This event will take place on Friday, June 12th, beginning at 8:45am in the Library. Coffee and a light breakfast will be served. Different classes and grade-levels have prepared ways to say THANK YOU to our volunteers. We hope you can join us! 😊
E-STEM Night and Musical Showcase:
- Thursday Evening, June 4
- 5:30 to 7:00 PM
- Please join us to celebrate the ESTEM learning students have done this year! Work will be on display throughout the school, and students and teachers will be there to share their learning and answer questions.
- Musical Showcase:
- This year we will also have environmentally-themed music performances in the cafetorium. The times for this will be:
- K/1: 5:40
- 2/3: 6:00
- 4/5: 6:20
- Followed by the EIM & Band/Orchestra showcase at 6:45!
Volunteer Orientation: Please note that there is one more orientation for the school year.

The library will begin accepting donations of gently used books starting Monday, May 25. All school library books need to be returned the week of May 25-29. Happy Reading!
