Message from Dr. Breuder:
Our staff and students are hard at work as we enter the remaining weeks of the 2025-26 school year! Students in grades 3-8 completed state testing (Smarter Balanced Assessment), MAP testing has begun for all K-8 students, and projects are being finalized across the building. We are also working on plans for next year, including preliminary class placements for grades 1-5 and preliminary schedules for middle school students. We are planning a new student orientation in August (August 19th) and our Transition to Kindergarten program (August 18-20) to welcome in our youngest scholars. This is an incredibly busy time of year, but it is one that is buzzing with energy and excitement.
Volunteer Orientation: We have many, many events in the next few weeks. As we have mentioned all year long, the safety and security of our community is our top priority. If you are planning to volunteer for any of the upcoming events, please make sure you are cleared as a volunteer. We have very clear expectations for how the adults in the building (staff, volunteers, visitors) interact with students. We have one more volunteer orientation (Thursday at 9:30), if you have not yet attended an orientation. This is a required step for volunteer clearance at Hazel Wolf K-8. It is an online meeting and takes approximately 15 minutes. I always start right on time, so please plan to join promptly at 9:30. Thank you for your understanding in participating in this step of the volunteer clearance process.
Volunteer Orientation:
