Message from Dr. Breuder:

Happy April! I am sitting in Poulsbo as I write this message.  It’s a beautiful spring day and I’m watching people walk by on the main street in Poulsbo as I get a little bit of work done.  I love this time of year, as the weather is changing and the sun brings about a renewed energy as we “emerge” from winter in the PNW.  My son, Dante, was home for his spring break at the UW and it was great to have both kids at home.  My daughter, Gia, is in the midst of deciding where she plans to attend college next year.  I am doing my best to support her in this decision-making without inserting my strong opinions…. Parenting is a space full of emotions, and I’ve learned a lot of patience from both my children.  😊

Spring Break is next week, and I do hope you have the opportunity to take some time to rest and relax before we head into this last part of the school year.

For Middle School families, we are in the midst of getting our Course Catalogue ready for next year, now that the budget/staffing process is complete.  (This process determines our staffing, which also determines our courses for next year.)  We will ask current 5th, 6th, and 7th-grade students to fill out Course Electives Input Surveys the week of May 4th.  Additionally, we will hold a Math Information Night for 5th and 6th-grade families to discuss math programming in middle school at Hazel Wolf.  That event will be held May 11th at 5:30 on Teams.  We will provide a Teams link closer to that date for families.

Attendance:

Hello Families,

For more than 3 days you will need to fill out a pre-planned absence form here:

Sign up for this exciting painting event!

  • All materials will be provided!
  • Please keep younger children at home, as we will not have the capacity to monitor children around wet paint stations.
