All School Announcements

Questions about Jump Start – As some of you know SPS was not able to provide jump start for incoming kindergarteners for this upcoming year (2023-2024). Fortunately, we have had a family which has been with us since we opened, and are in their last year here, who have offered to fund it! This is an amazing gesture, and we thank them for it. Dates: August 22nd, 23rd and 24th 2023 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) Time: 9-12
Location: Hazel Wolf K-8
Teachers will be working on this and will be in touch later this spring! Spread the word!

Middle School Announcements

Track season for MS begins 3/21 – We had a great season with coach Kristen Shriver last year and look forward to another this year. Practices will be held 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00-5:00 pm at Hale track and Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. Please have your students grab registration and parent release forms from MS pod and or office and turn them in early next week. Parent communication will follow shortly.

PTSA Sponsored Events

Hazel Wolf Direct Appeal – The 2023 Hazel Wolf Direct Appeal started on March 5 and continues through March 20!  We are 25%  of the way to reaching our Direct Appeal goal of $75,000! Thank you to everyone that has donated so far, we appreciate your generosity in whatever capacity works for your family. If you have not yet made a donation, it’s not too late and no amount is too small (or too big). With every donation you are entered to win great prizes like an Oola distillery tour for 15 people, a Colossal Cut & Box from Beecher’s, a $50 gift certificate to Corey’s dry cleaning, or a Cactus restaurant dinner for 4 ($120 value)! Hazel Wolf K-8 Family Night at the Mariners: Mark your calendars for Saturday April 1st at 6:40 pm!  This great event is both a fundraiser and a great way to hang out with others in the Hazel Wolf K-8 Community.  Tickets are $12 per person. Volunteer Opportunities

Do you love enjoying and or building community – Do you love all the amazing things a school does for your family? If you are passionate about the heartbeat of a school, your help is needed. We cannot do this alone, please join us!  We are still looking for a Secretary and Vice President for the PTSA board.
