Message from Dr. Breuder:

Happy Mother’s Day! Today I am thinking about my own journey as a mom, as my youngest child is graduating in a few short weeks and heading off to college in the fall.  I am thinking about my connection to my own mother, someone who I so much love and respect for and someone from whom I have learned so much.  Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there!

Multicultural Night—Thank you so much for attending Multicultural Night last week! It was so wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate each other and all of our cultures.  Thank you to all the volunteers and staff who organized this event!

Staff Appreciation Week—Thank you all the kind notes, yummy food, and gestures of appreciation during Staff Appreciation Week.  We feel so loved! Thank you.

SBA testing this week (grades 3-8): Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) will take place this week.  Students in grades 3-8 will participate in ELA and Math assessments.  Students can bring wired headphones or earbuds for this assessments.  We also have headphones at school for students to use.

Volunteer Orientations: Please note that these are the last two orientations for the school year.

That session is scheduled for Monday, May 11th at 5:30 on Teams. The Teams link was sent directly to current 5th-grade and middle school families and we will send it again on Monday.

ASB Officer Elections: This Wednesday we have a middle school assembly to hear the speeches from students running for ASB office.  Voting will happen on Wednesday afternoon and we will announce next year’s officers on Friday, May 15th.  We are so excited to see so many students interested in leadership!
