Minimum Expectations for All Board Members:

• Attend one PTSA state or regional leadership training session during the school year
• Attend general membership and board meetings monthly (2 hours/month)
• Respond to board-related emails in between meetings
• Assist executive board members when called upon

Minimum Expectations for the Arts Liaison:

1. Establish a good relationship with the arts and music teachers in the school (elementary music and art, middle school music, art, and drama). Communicate regularly with them about scheduled events (concerts, plays, etc.) and act as a liaison with the Board for scheduling purposes.
2. Communicate with the Arts teachers about their needs- financial, volunteers, coordinated bake sales, and report back to the Board to ensure the teachers have the support they need and the Board has the information it needs to make appropriate funding and scheduling decisions.
3. Provide support and direction to the Reflections chair.
4. Provide regular status updates to Vice President.
